S.E.S. MISSION
S.E.S. – UMPhST has as its mission the organization and conduct of activities aimed at promoting entrepreneurship among the university's students.
S.E.S. OBJECTIVES
- Promoting quality education;
- Creating an institutional framework conducive to the development and encouragement of entrepreneurial spirit;
- Supporting students who want to turn a business idea into a start-up;
- Encouraging mentor-student collaboration.
THE S.E.S. ATTRIBUTIONS
- Organizing training and mentoring activities;
- Acordarea de asistență și consultanță studenților pentru înființarea unui start-up;
- Organizing meetings with representatives of the business environment;
- The organization of type seminars weekend start-up;
- The development of materials intended for students in creating business plans;
- Organizing start-up project sessions;
- Organizing competitions to attract funding;
- Coordination of entrepreneurial activities within the University.
S.E.S. ORGANIZATION
The management of S.E.S. - UMPhST is carried out by an Executive Council consisting of 5 members, approved by the university Senate, which includes:
- President of S.E.S. - UMPhST;
- Two tutors/mentors, teaching staff of UMFST;
- A representative of the local business environment;
- A student appointed by the representative student organizations.
The president and the members of the executive council have a mandate of 4 years.
THE OPERATION OF S.E.S.
The main duties of the president of the Executive Council of S.E.S. – UMPhST are:
- Presiding over the Executive Council of S.E.S;
- Ensuring the executive management of S.E.S.;
- Enforcement and monitoring of the implementation of the decisions of the executive council;
- Harmonization of the S.E.S. strategy with the university development strategy;
- Monitoring and ensuring the implementation of partnerships with entities from the business environment;
- Organizing events to promote, develop, and encourage the entrepreneurial spirit of students;
- Attracting teachers and business people to become mentors/tutors for students in specific S.E.S.activities.
